HTC is designing Google’s Nexus smartphones for this year. Google always prefers something new and fresh for its yearly major flagship. It is believed that these Nexus smartphones will be an iconic devices for Android 7.0 Nougat, the new version of Google’s Android releasing later this summer.

Every year, Nexus smartphones are getting massive upgrades along with unique design. If the latest rumors to be considered true, the two new upcoming HTC Nexus devices, codenamed “Sailfish” and “Marlin” are identical in overall specs with major difference in screen size, just like Apple yearly two variants. Below are few rumored specs claimed to be true by many high profile leaks.

Codenamed ‘Marlin’ and ‘Sailfish’, these Nexus phones are said to have aluminum casing with the exception of the glossy rear panel, which is believed to be plastic (“it could be tough mixture of glass”).

The rumored color options will be the dark grey/black model, white/aluminum-silver option, and white/”electric blue” variant. Pricing is expected to be similar as Nexus 6P. These details are yet to confirm by Google.
